Turkey does not have an official coat of arms: the weird red oval thing is the Emblem of Turkey used by many government institutions. There is an unofficial coat of arms here that is rarely used. EamonnPKeane 19:12, 28 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
This template makes poor use of space (it literally hogs the article), making it difficult to add pictures. Wouldn't it be better to convert it to a wp:navbox, to be placed at the bottom of the article? --Adoniscik(t, c) 20:41, 25 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
