"Municipality"[edit]

Občina is part of the name in Slovenian (unlike, say, "the village of Brezje", where vas 'village' is not part of the name) and it is also capitalized in Slovenian—hence Občina Lendava 'Municipality of Lendava' (see also here). It's the same as writing Dallas County with a big "C" or Lake Victoria with a big "L". Doremo (talk) 16:24, 19 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
