Untitled[edit]

I meant this template to be for Newfoundland and Prince Edward Island since alone they couldn't have a box. I couldn't figure out a better name for it. GreenJoe 22:18, 16 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

RFC[edit]

Is Newfoundland and Labrador part of the Maritimes? Me-123567-Me (talk) 18:13, 3 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • No, Newfoundland and Labrador is part of Atlantic Canada. The Maritimes consists only of New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. MTLskyline (talk) 05:32, 4 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • I agree with MTLskyline... pretty sure it's not part of the Maritimes. --Rividian (talk) 03:46, 6 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • I'm also pretty sure it's not part of the Maritimes. Gary King (talk) 07:23, 6 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • I don't see how this is even relevant. The template is called "Atlantic Canada PS", not "Maritime Canada PS". Could someone please enlighten me? − Twas Now ( talkcontribse-mail ) 09:38, 11 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
    • Check the history, this was called Maritimes PS before it was moved to its current location. MTLskyline (talk) 02:16, 15 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
      • Oh. So is the issue settled then? − Twas Now ( talkcontribse-mail ) 13:40, 15 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
        • Yes, apart from adding all Atlantic Post Secondary institutions to the template... MTLskyline (talk) 14:40, 18 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
          • I've retired, but I felt the need to respond. I created this template, not to have -every- Atlantic post secondary institution in here, just the two provinces that can't justify their own template. GreenJoe 14:49, 18 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I see what GreenJoe was trying to do. A better title on the template, therefore, would be "Post secondary institutions in Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland and Labrador", and the template name could be {{PEI and NL PS}} or something like that. The current title is a bit misleading, and begs the question "what happened to all the other schools?" Skeezix1000 (talk) 19:34, 8 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
