Question[edit]

What was your rationale for removing the posts from Liz's talk page? I'll note that Liz had restored some of it when the original editor removed other's edits(diff). – 2804:F14:80B7:8201:C4DC:E500:5610:A60F (talk) 01:31, 22 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

It did not make any sense, wound up looking like a huge pile of incoherent text. thetechie@enwiki: ~/talk/ $ 14:16, 22 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Well, that is not one of the (presumably non-exhaustive) examples of appropriately editing others' comments at WP:TPO - and as I pointed out, in this case, Liz restored some of it, so it seemed pretty clear that Liz didn't care about having it there, even if she didn't feel the need to respond. Though I guess she's also not shown any inclination that she cares it was removed either, but I'm just going to say, maybe don't remove it if it's a situation like this. – 2804:F14:80E4:8401:960:2088:A68A:DF55 (talk) 22:00, 22 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Understood, sorry. Even if I have 4K edits to my name, I'm still learning . Thank you for the note. (I removed it because it looked incoherent and I didn't want to disturb Liz with it.) thetechie@enwiki: ~/talk/ $ 00:16, 23 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The "head" of my guestbook...[edit]

Hi. I removed the top most notice on my guestbook about being "Wikibonked". I assume that was the one you were talking about? Got rid of it on all my userpagess too... Huggums537 Vote! (guest🖋️book) or (suggestion🗳️box)? 05:48, 23 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Huggums537 I'm not sure what you're talking about, please provide a diff. thetechie@enwiki: ~/talk/ $ 14:12, 23 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Huggums537, At a second look, I meant the giant head that comes from the left every few seconds. Please disable it. — thetechie@enwiki: ~/talk/ $ 18:48, 23 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Jimbo peeking.gif, to be even more specific. — thetechie@enwiki: ~/talk/ $ 18:48, 23 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism, I Guess...[edit]

Is using your own opinions in Wikipedia articles vandalism, cause someone did it in the Photomath Wikipedia Article. The first line in the article's description appears to be the person's opinion of the app, since there's no citation and proof of that person's statement. I don't know if that's enough to judge if that's a personal opinion. Dulton100 (talk) 20:24, 24 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, vandalism, I've reverted the IP and blocked them. They're a proxy that hasn't done anything constructive in their life.--Bbb23 (talk) 20:34, 24 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
