Fungus[edit]

His Brief History of Medicine shows that he doesn't know the difference between bacteria and fungi (he calls Streptomyces a fungus). It is riddled with other errors (factual and typographical). 62.64.207.139 (talk) 17:35, 10 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Successful book series[edit]

Is there any source on the claim that his two book series are "successful", please? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 136.187.37.156 (talk) 10:15, 10 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

None given in article and none that I can find to add. Have removed the adjective. Tacyarg (talk) 19:22, 8 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Rise and Fall[edit]

This book is a once over very lightly of outdated theories. Even Anne Applebaum thinks Stalin killed 30 times less people when constructing the White Sea Canal and she is hardly a Russophile. 2404:440C:1774:5F00:18C2:E6AD:613B:2445 (talk) 07:44, 13 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Title of a book[edit]

The title of one of the book written by P. Strathern is ”Ten cities that led the world” and not as mentioned in the article “Ten cities that changed the world”. 2001:871:F:D918:91AB:8306:F154:2626 (talk) 14:24, 5 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
